Elect Care Services Ltd does not offer Nursing Care.
The service operates seven days a week from 7am to 7pm. An evening service is also available from 7pm to 11 pm. (It may also be possible to arrange services outside these hours.)
Aims and Objectives of Elect Care Services
We aim to:
Enable users of our services to live as independently as possible, in comfort and safety, by providing assistance with daily living tasks.
Help people who want to stay at home rather than move into residential or nursing care.
Provide a service that ensures service users are treated with respect and dignity at all times.
Involve our services users in planning and future delivery of the service.
Take into account service users ethnic, religious or cultural needs and requirements.
Accommodate wherever possible service users preferred times and days for the service to be delivered.
Ensure service users receive visits from a regular home carer wherever possible.
Provide each service user with a written and individual service plan to maintain appropriate records in the service user’s home
We don’t just come to our service users to provide personal care and leave but we use the extra time to assist tidy around and anything that you may needs.
The Elect Care Service is available to adult.
Those who may benefit include:
Elderly people who have difficulty looking after themselves.
Other adults who cannot look after themselves due to disability.
People who care for someone else and who need extra help to continue to do so.
People being discharged from hospital who require long or short term help.
People who have a disability or health problem and need additional support.
People with Learning Disability and their family.
How can l apply for Elect Care Services?
You can visit us at our office or by telephone, or someone else can apply for you such as relatives, friends, social worker, your GP, Nurse or your neighbour.
What do I do next?
Choosing your care from Elect Care Services is very straight forward.
Take a look through the leaflet at the services available and select what you need.
Contact Elect Care Services to inform them of your needs. They will then arrange a no obligation meeting in your home or day centre with our manager or care co-ordinator so that you can discuss your needs, with your relatives or friends present.
After confirming your choices we will then be able to establish the weekly cost of your care. This information will be clearly presented for you or your representative to sign.
If the cost and details are correct you confirm your requirements and your care plan will be put in place as soon as possible.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Any information you give us will be held in confidence by Elect Care Services in accordance with Data Protection Act 1998.
If we need to discuss this information with anyone else we will usually ask your permission. Please note, however, that Commission for Social Care Inspection and the Police may view information about you without your consent.
Please also be aware that Care worker have a duty to report situations where they believe you are, or may be, at risk. In this instance the appropriate people will be informed on a need to know basis only.
